Hi all,

I’ve just completed a fresh installation of SMF on my server, and while the installation process seemed to go through without any issues, I’m unable to access the admin panel now. Every time I try to log in, I’m redirected back to the login page without any error message, almost like it’s not recognizing my credentials.

Here’s what I’ve tried:

Double-checked the admin username and password I set during installation. hill climb racing
Cleared my browser cache and tried different browsers.
Checked the database to make sure the admin user was created correctly.
I’m stuck and not sure what to do next. Has anyone experienced this problem before? Any advice on what might be causing this and how to fix it?

Hi everyone,

I’m in the process of upgrading my SMF forum to the latest version, and I’ve hit a bit of a roadblock. Everything was going smoothly until I reached the database upgrade step. The script seems to hang indefinitely, and I’m not sure what’s causing the issue.

Here’s what I’ve done so far:

Backed up my database and files before starting the upgrade.
Uploaded all the new files to the server.
Ran the upgrade.php script, and that’s where things get stuck.
I’m not seeing any error messages—just a loading screen that doesn’t seem to progress. Has anyone encountered this before? Any tips on how to get past this step? I’d appreciate any help or suggestions!
